Rob Franklin has been with LPS since its beginnings – a total of 11 years, having taken several years out when he moved to Sydney. Over his career he has worked in a number of industries including aviation, technology, FMCG, energy and telco. He has spent the last three years working with Vodafone to help them with their digital portfolio management and supporting their transformation toward becoming a digital telco.

Rob brings to LPS a drive to help organisations transform. Over the past 11 years he has successfully helped a number of organisations in this area. These include adopting virtualisation and Cloud, programme development, delivery frameworks, technology transition and transformation and, most recently, digital transformation. He brings a wealth of experience in digital and technology strategy, consultation, high performance team development, portfolio development and management, Agile transformation and DevOps as well as technology and digital platforms. He will be focusing on growing LPS’s Digital Practice, bringing together the significant combined digital knowledge within LPS to help NZ organisations succeed in today’s environment.

Rob has most recently been working with Kiwirail, Ministry of Social Development and Auckland transport focusing on Agile Transformation and Technology Modernisation.

Outside of work Rob likes to mountain bike and play golf, when he gets time. He has a young son and daughter who both keep him extremely busy. Their latest passions are rock climbing and family bike rides which keep them all fit and active!
