In his role as Practice Director, Kevin Maloney brings to his client’s broad experience from work in industry leading clients and from the big-4 consulting firms.  He has successfully led transformation and change programmes and projects since 2002 – across a diverse portfolio of industries – notably agri-business, financial services, telecommunications, public sector and utilities. 

Kevin has assisted significant New Zealand publicly-listed companies and government agencies to form ideas into projects, balance their portfolio and execute and embed change across their business model.  Most recently Kevin has successfully enabled our clients to transform their value delivery by address the requirements of digital organisations. 

A focus on customer needs and voice and a “why can’t we” mindset embeds an uplift in project effectiveness and reduces time to benefit. As a Chartered Accountant, Certified IT Professional and Certified Information Systems Auditor, Kevin delivers client outcomes from a sound basis of proven professional practice. This background, coupled with broad industry experience enables Kevin to provide our clients with the optimal experience that meets their requirements – be that one of LPS’ product offerings or a customised service capability. 

Outside of work Kevin has chaired the Board and his son’s primary school for the last four years.  This role has provided Kevin with the opportunity to give-back to the school community as well as hone his governance experience.  Kevin has brought the lessons of team development, consultation with stakeholders and openness in communication to his professional practice.
